Zara’s passion for Musical Theatre and performing arts began at an early age when she first started at LAMDA at primary school, age 7—achieving up to Grade 5, with Distinctions throughout. LAMDA ultimately introduced Zara into the performing arts world when she was first assigned to perform ‘Naughty’ from ‘Matilda’. When researching ‘Matilda’, Zara fell in love with the story, leading her to see it the West End, which was the first of many trips to the theatre! Zara pursued her passion for performing Arts by joining Italia Conti pro course for five years and then undertook their BTEC. Now Zara is currently at London Studio Centre undertaking a robust Degree in Musical Theatre. Both the BTEC and the degree have only added more fuel to Zara’s passion for this field.
Aside from academia, Zara has participated in numerous BMYT performances, taking her to Leeds and Huddersfield for two weeks. Furthermore, Zara went to Athens and Malta with her school choir, learning about different cultures take on the arts. Undertaking these extra-curricular activities enable Zara to put theory into practice, further cementing her knowledge.
Zara is thoroughly looking forward to joining the teaching team, hoping to share and spread her infectious passion for performing arts.
